Hello I’m Amaury Brito, and I’m User Experience Designer and Researcher based in the greater Houston, Texas area.

I am a God fearing man who is passionate about serving people and helping humans around me achieve greatness. My biggest motivation is to represent my family and my culture in everything that I do, and I work tirelessly to set an example for my children as their father.

I was born in the Dominican Republic and came to the states at the age of 13. I am the first of my family’s generation who came to the United States to graduate from high school and college. I also served in the United States Army for 9 years. Being in the military provided me with a purpose to serve others and helped develop leadership skills under pressure. 

I began my journey in the design world as a mechanical designer working in the Oil and Gas industry for 8 years. I made a shift in my career that would allow me to pursue a different practice that still focuses on fulfilling human needs. After expansive research, I landed into the world of User Experience Design. I believe that by formulating designs with the users as the main focus will allow the creation of an impactful experiences and will produce ethical profits for the company that I work with.

Outside of the design world, I am passionate about God and church, traveling with my family, german shepherds, and exploring new cultures. I also enjoy fitness and all kinds of sports, specifically baseball.
