How I work
I. Challenge the ask

The requested solution is a hypothesis, not a requirement. On Bank Recon, everyone wanted a dashboard — research proved the real problem was effort, and the right answer was simpler.

II. Learn the system to the table level

I sit with users through their real workflow and with engineers through the actual data. Design earns trust when it understands the mainframe as well as the person in front of it.

III. Ship what moves the metric

AI-assisted prototyping makes ideas testable in days, not weeks — and I stay through delivery until the outcome is measured. $89M+ so far.

It provides the exact figures we need without paging through multiple documents — the variances are identified the moment we open it.

Amaury Brito
About
From soldiers to steel to software — the common thread is bringing order to complexity.

I’m Amaury Brito — product designer, Army veteran, and follower of Christ. Before product design I taught soldiers to operate under pressure and designed physical products for the energy industry. That path shaped how I design: start with the system, respect the people inside it, and measure what matters.

My faith is the foundation of how I work. It calls me to excellence as a form of stewardship, and to treat design as an act of service — to the customer, to the team, and to the people whose daily work my systems carry.

Work done with excellence, in love and service to others, honors its purpose.
